Refer to the check and reconfirmation of connection mentioned in the trouble shooting of the instruction manual. If it is not still improved, please install the driver software again.
When the driver is installed again, if OS of user\\\'s PC is Win2000 or XP, please do it in the condition of logging in with the administrator\\\'s account.
Also, when you first connect the scanner after the installation, the message, \\\"Digital Signature Not Found ...\\\" on Win2000 or \\\"... not passing the logo testing ...\\\" on WinXP is displayed. In that case, click \\\"Yes\\\" or \\\"Continue\\\" to complete recognizing the scanner.
For Macintosh
Specially when the driver is started up on OSX, this problem may happen if OS9 (Classic) is operated with OSX. In that case, please start up the driver after stopping Classic\\\'s operation as follows.
When you use this model on OSX10.2. (including 10.3.), please restart PC. This problem may happen if Classic is operated even once.
