We cannot tell exactly what happened without the image, but the auto cropping area is set \\\"inside\\\" when you use Easy Scan Utility. Therefore, around the image is eliminated. One part of image may be eliminated by the length and wide ratio according to the purpose (image size) selected when scanning. Specially on this model, the length and wide ratio of the image is based on. We suppose the right and left side of scanned image were eliminated.
If you need the eliminated part, select \\\"Save as Highest Resolution\\\" for its purpose, or scan it normally and crop the image.
