What different metering patterns are used in Dynax cameras?


The metering pattern in Dynax cameras has evolved in major ways over the years. Metering Milestones:1985 Dynax 7000: Center-weighted average metering1988 Dynax 7000i: AF-integrated, 6-segment multi-pattern metering.1991 Dynax 7xi: AF-integraged, 14-segment, honeycomb pattern meteringThe 14-Segment, Honeycomb pattern is used in the following cameras:7xi, 9xi, 600si, 700si, 800si, 404si, 505si super, 505si, Dynax 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9. Variations of metering systems include:2xi, SPxi, 3xi, 5xi, 300si, 400si, 500si, STsi: 7-segment honeycomb pattern 3000i, 5000i, 303si: Dual-area metering.
