How do I use the Ps and Pa function of my Dynax camera?

Available on the Dynax 4, 5, 60, 7, 9, 5xi, 7xi, 9xi, 700si, 800si. Although Program Mode automatically sets the shutter and aperture, the photographer can instantly input his/her own photographic "expertise." PS mode enables shutter speed selection in 1/2-stop increments. You can then use a slower speed to show action or fast speed to stop it. The aperture will be controlled automatically to maintain correct exposure. PA mode enables aperture selection in 1/2 stop increments. You can then adjust the aperture to obtain more or less depth of field. The camera will adjust shutter speeds for correct exposure. With the Dynax 7, set for the WHITE P mode and simply turn the front control dial for PS or back control dial for PA. With the Dynax 9, select Custom Function 18, selection 2 using the buttons in the control door and the front and rear control dials. No mode indications will appear in the viewfinder or data panel. With Dynax 4 and 5, use Custom Function 8 to use the control dial for either PS or PS mode. PS and PA cannot be used with Flash photography.
