FAQ

What cameras have multi-segment flash sensors?

The Vectis S-1, Dynax 9, Dynax 7, and Dynax 7 share the same 4-segment flash metering cell. The S-1 uses the cell with a simple magnification program. The Dynax 9 and Dynax 7 use both autofocus and 14-segment meter information to determine which cell to favor and the degree of weighting. The Dynax 7 uses enhanced distance information provided by the Dynax (D) series lenses to determine the true reflectance of the subject for highest degree of flash precision.
