PhotQuicker disables PIM Button

When printing through PhotoQuicker (Software supplied with Epson printer) using PIM-enabled printers, the button is dimmed. A bug in Photo Quicker 3.0. The bug-fix release is downloadble from their websites, such as http://www.epson.co.uk/support/download/inkjet.htm Please do not save with DiMAGE Image Viewer Utility if you want to print the captured image with PIM function enabled. Open the images directly through Photo Quicker 3.0. Inherently, DiMAGE Image Viewer Utility is not PIM compliant. Once saved with this utility software, the image is no longer PIM-compliant, thus color cast may occur when printed via a PIM-enabled printer. This problem does not apply to the users of PIM-enabled printer provided with a PC card slot (like Stylus Photo 895) who do not print the image via PhotoQuicker 3.0. PIM is a superior function that perfectly calibrates a range of settings through entire automatic process using tagged information in the captured image. This is the simplest way to obtain the best image quality. On the contrary, photo retouching applications including DiMAGE Image Viewer Utility allow users to manipulate the captured images to match their taste.
