When is it better to turn off ADI-metering?
When using a filter (with a filter-factor > 1), the limiter function on a lens or when the macro switch on a lens is in use, ADI or preflash metering might result in incorrect metering.
Use custom function 11 to turn off ADI-metering and use TTL metering only (mode 2).
