FAQ

What is the flash cable OC-1100 for?

With the flexible OC-1100 cable you can connect the program flash 5600 HS (D) to the DiMAGE 5/7/7i/7Hi or DiMAGE A1/A2/A200 or the Dynax 5D/7D. To connect the OC-1100 to the 3600 HS (D), you will also need the Off-Camera Shoe OS-1100. All automatic functions are supported by the cable and there is no difference in handling, compared with using the flash directly on the accessory shoe. With the OC-1100 you can mount your flash on a rail in order to allow the subject to receive light from a different angle. This is especially recommended when shooting close-up. The coiled spiral cable allows a working distance between the flash and the camera of up to one metre.
