No special device driver is necessary for using the scanner. The scanner uses the Twain-Interface. To avoid the hardware assistant routine onto each Windows start, click on „continue“ and „Done“ and „Do not show this message anymore“ when the hardware assistant has started. When prompted to select a designation of the driver do not select any drive. Windows will not find a driver and the scanner will be listed as unknown device in the device manager. The installation is completed with these steps and no further action is required.
