1) The USB driver may not be installed correctly (Win98), or the operation of the USB driver is unstable due to conflict with other resident application.
Please uninstall the driver, and reinstall it referring to the instruction manual.
2) Before uninstalling the USB driver, check the following points.
•USB cable is firmly connected.
•The camera is directly connected to the PC. Use of USB hub may cause connection failure.
•The battery capacity is sufficient.
•The camera is correctly recognized as a removable disk on the PC.
•The CompactFlash Card is in good condition. (Try using another card.)
