What are the main differences between the Dynax 5D and 7D?


Basically the image quality is the same, but there are some differences in the control layout and the features: - Additional features of the Dynax 5D: - smaller body (app. 22 %) - lighter - easy to use control layout with function button menu - Digital subject programs - Whitebalance-bracketing - Enlarged playback of Raw-files - Automatic picure rotate for pictures taking in portrait orientation - 1s start time (Dynax 7D: 2s) - Reduced power consumption (number of pictures: 550 (CIPA standard, Dynax 7D: 400) Adavanced features of the Dynax 7D (not 5D): - PC sync for studio flashes - optional vertical control grip - LCD with higher resolution (207,000; Dynax 5D: 115.000) - Magnesium body - More custom functions - Manual flash control - Glass pentaprism viewfinder - Classic control layout for the advanced user - Interval mode - Flash brackering - Exchangeable viewfinder screens
