What is a SCSI ID?
Each device in a SCSI chain has an address number from 0 to 7 (0 to 15 for wide SCSI). Each device on a SCSI bus must have a unique SCSI ID. The SCSI adapter is always number 7.
It is recommended using ID: 4-6 for external devices.
If you won’t to change the ID disconnect the scanner from the computer.
