What are the main features of Dynax/Maxxum 5D?


It will be available on end of August, 2005. Maxxum/Dynax 5D is new digital SLR camera equipped with the same CCD-shift Anti-Shake function and well-reputed image processing engine as the Maxxum/Dynax 7D, and delivers high quality image, versatile functions, and comfortable operability. Main features are as follows. - Compact body (size and weight are reduced approx. 22% compared to Maxxum/Dynax 7D) - 23.5mm x 15.7mm, 6.1-megapixel (effective) CCD with our proprietary image processing technology to ensure natural and impressive reproduction of the subject with rich textures. - CCD-shift type Anti-Shake system built in the camera body to enable anti-shake effect on every Dynax/Maxxum system lenses. (*) (*excluding 1x-3x Macro Zoom lens) - Well-balanced brightness and defocusing by spherical acute matte. - 2.5 inch TFT color LCD monitor with 115,000 pixels to ensure ease of check. Also it employs useful Navigation display to display recording information. - Digital subject program selection, color mode/DEC function with simple operation. - Versatile features including zone matching, white balance bracketing, and PictBridge support.
