How long does a fully charged battery last?


Approximate number of recording images : AA size Alkaline batteries: 240 frames *1 AA size Ni-MH batteries (2500mAh): 420 frames *1 Conforming to CIPA(Camera & Imaging Products Association) *1: LCD monitor on, Full-size images: 2560x1920, Standard image quality, No instant playback, Flash used with 50% of the frames, No full-time AF, one image at every 30 sec., turning the power on/off at every ten images. Approximate period of playback images : Based on Konica Minolta's standard test method AA size Alkaline batteries: 240 min. AA size Ni-MH batteries (2500mAh): 330 min. *Since the performance may vary depending on conditions, recording mode, and subjects, these are approximate values only. - Battery performance depends on the brand/model temperature battery condition. - Keep battery and camera contacts clean. Dirty contacts can affect battery performance. - Bettery performance decreases with temperature. In cold environments, we recommend keeping spare batteries in a warm place, such as the inside of a coat. Batteries can recover their power when they warm up. - When Ni-MH batteries are charged for the first time, they need more than one charging to be fully charged. Charge fresh Ni-MH batteries at least two or three times before usage. - Keep battery and camera contacts clean. Dirty contacts can affect battery performance. - Performance of Ni-MH batteries may lessen it they are recharged repeatedly without making full-use. Discharge them fully before re-carging. - Refer to the instruction manual for the battery charger in advance.
