For the camera to be connected directly to the computer and used as a mass-storage device, the computer must be equipped with a USB port as a standard interface. The computer and the operating system must be guaranteed by their manufacturers to support USB interface. The following operating systems are compatible with the camera: Windows 98, 98 Second Edition, Me, 2000 Professional, and XP Home and Professional editions. Mac OS 9.0 to 9.2.2 and Mac OS X v10.1.3 to 10.1.5, v10.2.1 to 10.2.8, v10.3 to 10.3.5. *For Windows 98/98 Second Edition, it is necessary to install the USB driver included in the bundled CD-ROM. Please connect the camera and PC via USB cable after installing the driver.
