FAQ

No connection to the scanner.


Check first if your scanner or camera appears in your device manager. ((Start>Settings>Control Panel>System>Device Manager). The DiMAGE Scan Dual II appears as imaging device in your device manager if the driver is installed correctly: If the scanner appears in your “device manager” correctly check if the front panel is closed. If the scanner not appears in your “device manager”: 1.Check if the scanner is turned on. 2.Disconnect all other USB-devices. 3.Connect the scanner direct with your computer without a USB-Hub. 4.Check if your USB-Controller is installed correctly (if it appears with an exclamation mark in the device manager it is not correctly installed). In this case reinstall the driver for your USB-Controller. 5.Update the driver for USB-Controller. Check the name of the manufacture of your USB-Controller (e. g. VIA) and install the latest version of the driver (e. g. http://www.via.com.tw). For further in formations about the driver update please review to the manufactures website.
