How long does it take to scan?
Scan time (Windows/Macintosh):
Index scan (6 frames): approx.12 sec. / approx. 16 sec.
Final scan: approx.25 sec. / approx. 30 sec.
Prescan*: approx. 8 sec. / approx. 9 sec.
*DiMAGE Scan Elite 5400 II obtains prescan images at index scan. These values indicates the time when an image is prescanned individually.

-Scan time is longer with Digital ICE4 on.
-Scan time is longer with Color Matching on.
-Scan time is longer to scan negative films than positive films.
-Scan time may vary depending on PC's condition (e.g. clock frequency and free space on the hard drive) especially in scanning high-volume image files.
