The error message, \"Could not confirm scanner connection\" is displayed and the scanner cannot be connected.
For Windows
Refer to the check and reconfirmation of connection mentioned in the trouble shooting of the instruction manual. If it is still not improved, please install the driver software again.>
Users Win2000 or WinXP have be logged in as administrator in order to istall the scanner driver.
Also, when you first connect the scanner after the installation, the message, "Digital Signature Not Found ..." on Win2000 or "... not passing the logo testing ..." on WinXP is displayed. In that case, click "Yes" or "Continue" to complete recognizing of the scanner.
For Macintosh
Specially when the driver is started up on OSX, this problem may happen if OS9 (Classic) is operated with OSX. In that case, please start up the driver after stopping Classic's operation.
When you use this model on OSX10.2. (including 10.3.), please restart PC. This problem may happen if Classic is operated even once.
