The DiMAGE A1/A2 needs one dedicated lithium ion-battery NP-400. In addition this the following optional accessories are available:
Battery pack BP-400 : It can be attached to the body and has portability and movability. External High Power Battery Pack EBP-100: It is possible to take photo while warming up the battery part at cold places. AC adapter AC-2L (100-120V)/AC-11(220-240V): It is possible to take photos indoor and when connecting the camera to PC without caring about battery power.
