What is a “Dynax 9Ti (Titan)”?


The Dynax 9 Titan is a technical highlight produced by Minolta at the end of the century. This limited edition is restricted to only 1000 cameras world wide (90 for the German market). Special features of the Dynax 9 Titan are: The outer shell of the Dynax 9 are made of very robust stainless steal and the floor pan components are made of zinc casting. The body weight of the Dynax 9Ti is reduced to 825g by using titanium and magnesium alloys for the outer shell and floor pan components. consists of refined metals like titanium and magnesia alloys. In addition the Titanium surface features a special coating. A special, softer rubber grip offers more comfort. New features found in the Custom Functions include: • Cust 14 -The LED glowing time of selected local-focus area can be extended. • Cust 18 -The PA/Ps creative program control is available with the front control dial, while the control of the exposure compensation is available with the rear control dial. • Cust 22 -The AF illuminator can be cancelled. • Cust 23 -To prevent accidental turning of the dials while carrying the camera, the front/rear control dials can be disengaged when the exposure is not being metered.
