Does the DiMAGE F300 employ Auto Power Off function? How long is the duration until the camera turns off?

Yes, the auto power save functions to save power.
The camera shuts itself off after 1 minutes after the last operation.(Power Save Function). The length of this period is selectable from 1 min., 3 min., 5 min., or 10 min. in the menu. Pressing the power button resumes the camera operation when the Power Save Function is working.
Answer 2:
When the camera is connected to the PC via USB cable, the power save functions after 10 minutes after the last communication.
