With this camera, the exposure set in M (manual) exposure mode is reflected on the monitors. Only when the built-in-flash or a dedicated Minolta program flash is used is the live image displayed without the effect of the set exposure. When using a non-dedicated off-camera flash in M mode, the live image may be very dark because of the shutter and aperture settings.
