When using Macro flash unit with DiMAGE 7, the following setting is recommended.
1) Set the camera sensitivity to ISO 100. (Auto setting adjusts the sensitivity to ISO 200 equivalent.)
2) Set exposure compensation of -1 to -2 EV.
View the result on the LCD monitor display or in the EVF, and change the exposure when necessary.
For additional compensation, attach ND filter #4 to the lens.
à Flash output saturates with the minimum distance.
When ND filter #4 is used, the control will be 0 to 0.5EV to the optimum exposure value.
