The focus area can be set for Wide Focus Area, or Spot Focus Point. When using the Spot Focus Point, the DiMAGE 7i offers "Flex Focus Point (FFP) " for controlling the position of the Spot Focus Point. This is a powerful tool for off-center subjects.
