With Macro flash unit attached, images easily become overexposure within a short shooting distance.


The camera fails to control the flash output automatically due to high intensity of Macro ring flash, thus the close subject may be overexposed.
Version 1.21 firmware also corrects the bounce flash problem.
The previous firmware version fires the pre-flash with relatively large output, because the camera-to-subject distance information is not available in off-camera or bounce flash condition. This may cause metering failure for subjects at closer distance.
