FAQ

What is the difference among the Subject Tracking AF, Single-shot AF and Full-time AF?

The Subject Tracking AF continues focusing by following main subject inside wide focus area while shutter-release button is pressed partway down whether the subject moves or the camera position is changed. Single-shot AF locks the focus when the shutter-release button is pressed partway down. Full-time AF continues focusing when the power is turned on. In Auto mode, Full-time AF and Subject Tracking AF are automatically selected.
