FAQ

What is the rate of continuous frame advance?

The continuous advance speed is approximately 1.2 fps (frame per second), but actual speed may vary depending on the subject or according to the selected image size. (The speed is 1.5 fps when the shutter-release audio signal is set to OF F.) The maximum number of images that the camera can capture continuously is as below. Econ.: 20 / 30 / 45 / 142 Std. : 10/ 16 / 25/ 101 Fine : 5/ 8 / 13 / 64 Super Fine: Not available (Image size: 2560x1920/2048x1536/1600x1200/640x480) When the maximum number of images exceeds the above, it is impossible to maintain the continuous advance speed of approximately 1.2 fps (frame per second). * When the set mode is Super Fine, the continuous-advance drive mode is not selectable. The UHS continuous-advance speed is approximately 11 fps(frame per second). * The functions at UHS continuous-advance mode is limited as below: 1. The size of images are fixed to 1280X960. 2. This mode cannot be used with the digital zoom.(automatically released) 3. This mode cannot be used with the flash illumination. (automatically flash off) 4. This mode cannot be used with Digital Subject Programs.(automatically released) 5. AF/AE/White Balance are fixed to the first captured image. 6. The shutter speed is faster than 1/30 per seconds. 7. UHS conitinuous-advance mode allows up to eleven images to be captured regardless of the image-quality and image-size combination. * When the set mode is Super Fine, the UHS continuous mode is not selectable.
