  The following symptoms are known to occur at image acquisition to Adobe Photoshop 6.0 for Macintosh.
Symptom-1
The scan settings for preferences and image correction are initialized when restarting the driver software.
Symptom-2
A pre-view image appears with its sides reversed (right-left) accompanied by color misalignment when restarting the driver software after scanning the image with the auto brightness ON (color positive).
Corrective method
Perform the preview scan again.

  QuickScan35 Plug-in driver cannot be used with Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for Macintosh.
*1: A dedicated edition of driver software version 2.6 is necessary to use the scanner on new Power Macintosh G3 series (Blue & White).
*2,*3: Fully tested with Windows 2000 Professional with a limited number of system configurations and/or devices.
(*2:If ASPI layer is Ver.4.57, it is usable.)
*4: When the scanner is connected via AHA-2940AU, SCSI Card 19160, SCSI Card 29160 or SCSI Card 29160N, your computer will take longer time by one or two minutes than usual to start up. You can use the scanner normally after a message Device connected, but not ready appears.
*5: Product has been tested and confirmed to work correctly under Windows XP with a limited number of system configurations and/or devices.
*6: You must first log on as the Administrator to complete the driver installation.

  1. First time when using the scanner on the PC, follow the procedure below.
1) Connect the scanner to the PC. Found-New-Hardware-Wizard runs automatically.
2) Click on Next button several times until the last window appears.
3) Check Disable the device and click on Finish.
2. Driver installation 
You must be logged on as an administrator to complete the installation.
