Other manufactures´ flash units should never be used, because they may damage the camera body and operation is not guaranteed. We don´t recommend flash units of the older flashes (5400 HS etc.), X-series, and Macro Flash 1200AF (old controller), because they do not fire. The usage of off-camera accessory (off-camera cable etc.) cannot be employed.
