*1: The computer and the operating system must be guaranteed by their manufacturers to support USB interface. Please contact respective manufacturers for details.
*2: Users with Windows 98 or 98 Second Edition will need to install the driver software on the included CD-ROM into their computers.
*3: When using Mac OS 8.6, you need to install USB Mass Storage Support 1.3.5 after downloading it from the web site of Apple Computer.
*4:
- The correct date and time of image file may not be displayed with Mac OS X. However, date and time of recording is stored in the Exif tag attached to the image file and can be displayed with Exif compatible software.
- When mass data (data with which the transfer time of data exceeds 10 minutes) are transferred from a computer to a camera, the files may be damaged. (The original files are not damaged.)
In case you transfer mass data from a computer to a camera, we recommend split transfer in multiple times.
- In case no operation was done on a camera for five minutes, communication between a camera and Mac OS X via USB will be disconnected. During USB connection, quickly perform operation such as copying files.
-
For Mac OS X v10.1.x Users.
- If you have updated the QuickTime to version 6, rewinding time-laps movie of 2560x1920 may fail. Use other image size.
For Mac OS X v10.2.1 Users.
- In Quick Time 6, time-laps movie of 2560x1920 cannot be playbacked. Use other image size.
*5: To use 8MB/512MB SD memory card, ver.1.01u firmware is required. If your DiMAGE 7Hi is ver.1.00u, updating to ver.1.01 is necessary. Ver.1.00 does not work correctly.
